🚨 The Technical Review & Approaches Report for the Blueprint Bangor Land Development Code Update is now available for public review. This in-depth report examines Bangor’s current Code and identifies confusing or outdated rules, highlights key challenges, and introduces new ideas to make the Code clearer, more consistent, and easier to use.

As part of the Blueprint Bangor project—a full rewrite of the City’s Land Development Code—this report lays the groundwork for how an updated Code can better support the City’s goals around topics like housing, sustainable growth, and economic development. From modernizing district standards to simplifying the Code’s structure and use tables, the recommendations in this report mark the first big step toward development rules that work better for Bangor.
